Business Partners, The Chamber for Uptown Chicago
Business Partners, The Chamber for Uptown has been Uptown's business association since 1923. Our mission is to be the primary advocate, voice and support organization for the historic and diverse Uptown business community. Our vision is to be a driving force in creating a clean, safe, attractive, well-informed, self-reliant, thriving and pride-filled business community that supports and is supported by local consumers and is a destination point for Chicago visitors.
The boundaries of the Chamber are Irving Park Road on the south; Foster Avenue on the north; Lake Michigan on the east; and Ravenswood on the west from Montrose Avenue to Foster Avenue and Clark Street on the west from Irving Park Road to Montrose Avenue.

Chamber Committee's
Membership Committee
(Chair: Karen Sims Institute of Cultural Affairs - USA) It is the mission of the membership committee to sustain a diverse membership that is reflective of the Uptown business community, retain existing members and attract new members by ensuring quality membership benefits and communicating the value of those benefits to the businesses of Uptown.
Business Public Safety Committee
(Chair: Jay Bomberg, Bomberg Property Management) It is the mission of the public safety committee to give Uptown business owners a forum in which to discuss how crime and public safety issues are effecting their businesses; to research the means by which business owners can combat these issues, short term and long term; to create policy positions for and act as the primary advisors to the Business Partners Board on matters regarding public safety, and to work with other local committees, police and elected officials to implement strategies that will mitigate the negative effects of these issues.
